A double A side chunk of wax to complement Disorient's 'Dois' compilation, following on from last years Ichi (one in Japanese) is the Dois (two in portuguese) compilation. We released three limited edition twelve inches of unreleased and sought after tracks and lost gems from Japan and beyond.
First up the hottest bit of promo wax to come out of Tokyo in the last three years gets a UK release, with west London guru I.G Culture hooks up with eastern diva Monday Michuru to rework her 'Chasing After The Sun ' single into the pinnacle of broken beat production. With the most complexed piece of drum programming this certainly creeps near the groundbreaking territory and is a essential chapter in the ever-evolving west London sound.
On the flip New York eccentric and Tokyo resident Terre Thamlitz, famed for with Comatose label as well as his warped beats and transvenstual outings, drops on of his 'Fag Jazz ' bombs with a keyboard virtuoso over a lazy techo bassline which end in musical carnage.

Following with this next volume of Disorient Monday Michiru ‘Chasing After The Sun’ & Social Material ‘Class’. This is the next slab of vinyl of unreleased and sought after hard-to-find gems from Japan which have collectively been released on a full CD – Dois.
The A side kicks off with well respected DJ & Production Brixton based duo Basement Jaxx (Felix Buxton & Simon Ratcliffe) hooking up with Japanese diva Monday Michiru for an unreleased dub version from a few years back of her ‘Cruel To Be Kind’ track. A party bassline trademark and a firm club favourite that never found its way to a commercial release... it’s a bumpin’ floor filler monster of a house track.
On the flipside, well respected Tokyo based artist Calm who’s had releases all across the globe on such respected labels as Exceptional, Ubiquity, Compost & Yellow gets to grips with a gorgeous piece of chord-led chilled and exotic percussive electronic house with ‘Sketch on Banana Paper’. The piano lines are reminiscent of the house music of the early 80’s and Calm injects characteri stic warmth into his track that he originally recorded last year.
