A) Miguel de Deus - Black Soul Brothers B/W AA) Boogaloo Combo - Hot Pants Road

Side A features the title track from Miguel de Deus sought after 'Black Soul Brothers' album, an important record in the 'Black Rio' movement, originally released in 1977 on Copacabana. De Deus was the founding member of the legendary Os Brazões. This track has never before been released on 7".

The AA side features a cover of James Brown's 'Hot Pants Road' taken from their 1972 LP 'Com Muito Ritmo' on Epic Brazil, again previously unreleased on 7".

A) Os Originais do Samba - La Vem Salgueiro B/W AA) Tenha Fe, Pois Manaha U Lindo Dia Vai Nascer

Os Originais do Samba formed in Rio in the 1960's by members of samba schools. La Vem Salgueiro is a huge carnival jam featured on their 1972 RCA LP 'O Samba É A Corda...Os Originais A Caçamba'. Previously unreleased on 7".

'Tenha Fe, Pois Manaha U Lindo Dia Vai Nascer' is a Jorge Ben cover version. Salinas' version of this appears on the fourth Brazil 45, released earlier this year. Previously unreleased on 7" once again.
