In late October 1989, David 'Mr Bongo' Buttle opened his first record shop, 
underneath Daddy Kool’s Reggae Store on Berwick Street in London. 25 years later and we are still flying the flag for quality music, and are now celebrating a quarter of a century of Mr Bongo.

Joyce - The Essential Joyce: 1970-1996

Joyce Moreno is a true legend in Brazilian music.  She has recorded over 20 solo releases and has had hundreds of her songs covered by some of the greatest names in Brazilian and international music including Flora Purim, Milton Nascimento, Elis Regina, Gal Costa, Maria Bethânia, Elizeth Cardoso, Simone and Wallace Roney.

This album celebrates some of her work from 1970-1966 and includes all-time classics 'Aldeia de Ogum', 'Rodando A Baiana', 'Caqui' and many more. 'Aldeia de Ogum' appears on our 25th anniversary compilation.
