The king of Brazilian swing, Eumir Deodato and his lesser-known band 'Os Catedráticos'. Throughout his lifetime Deodato worked with hundreds of icons both within Brazil and around the world – from Aretha Franklin, Kool And The Gang, Marcos Valle and Bjork. 'Ataque' shows Deodato's early work, with songs by himself and other prolific Brazilian songwriters arranged for his big brass band. Originally released in 1965. Reissued here by Far Out Recordings.
