A lovely album by Kiyoshi Yamaya from 1976, re-issued for Japanese Record Store Day 2021. 'Ryukyu = 琉球 ' mixes Japanese min'yō (Japanese Folk Music) with jazz, funk, and other genres. Well, recommended!
