This week's staff pick comes from Mr Bongo himself – label founder, owner, seeker of all things rare and reissued, David Buttle. Out of Dave's struggle for a decision in this weeks staff pick comes two recommendations – Perfume Azul Do Sol 'Nascimento' and N’Draman Blintch 'Cosmic Sounds'.

Recently championed by Floating Points amongst others, this Brazilian psych rock classic missed out on success in their motherland as the record company decided to stick with Secos E Molhados, so Perfume got forgotten! But, the recent craze for all things Brazil and psych has given them a new lease of life. 'Nascimento' has it all.... Horns, hooky guitar lines, wailing vocals and psychedelics. We'll feature a few tracks on our next Mr Bongo Record Club (Vol 3). 



N’Draman Blintch’s Cosmic Sounds

Could N’Draman be the next William Onyeabor-esque discovery? Pure experimental electronic madness.
