An amazing record (which was the very first release on Brighton's label Hive Mind. Music in 2017) from the late great Maalem Mahmoud Gania, who collaborated with Floating Points & James Holden for a release on Eglo in 2015. 'Colours of the Night' is the final studio recording by Maalem – a deep, spiritual hypnotic journey of 'Gnawa' trance. Officially licensed from the Gania family complete with support of all who were involved in the original recordings. A superb record!!!
