Released for the UK’s National Bee Day (20/05/2025), Karman Line Collective is a musical collective run by the artist Wolfgang Buttress alongside many collaborators including Kevin Bales and Tony Foster (Spiritualized, Julian Cope). Wolfgang and friends have spent the last three years creating a new soundscape for his latest art installation Bees: A Story of Survival, which is running as a multi-sensory experience at World Museum, Liverpool. This immersive exhibition highlights the essential role these ingenious pollinators play within the planet’s ecosystems, whilst also focusing on the existential threat faced by both bees and humanity alike due to our mistreatment of the environments that surround us.
