Am amazing contemporary jazz album, 'Universal Beings' is the new project by jazz drummer / producer Makaya McCraven. Recorded with a whole host of US and UK jazz talent over two intimate live sessions and two pop-up studio sessions in New York, Chicago, London and Los Angeles. Fifteen musicians collaborated with Makaya on this album including Shabaka Hutchings, Nubya Garcia, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, Daniel Casimir and Carlos Niño.
